It was finally time that my skills were needed again. Severian, the Guild Leader of the Alchemists called his favorite assistant for help.
Which was, of course, me. I couldn’t be any prouder as an Alchemist who has reached the “pinnacle of our art” and was ready to fullfill this difficult task.
In Mor Dhona, I met with fellow Alchemist Guild members.
They were having issues with thieves who stole important Alchemic documents or something…
Of course, I helped them figure out what happened.
We investigated all suspicious behaiour in and around Mor Dhona.
It was very clear to me that something big was going on.
With the help of my newly found Alchemist buddies, I arrested the most suspicious persons.
The main suspect was an old Alchemist. At least he claimed to be one but he looked weirdly rich and old and something was off. My Lala nose could clearly smell it!
With special alchemic powder, my Alchemist butty bestowed the arrested dude!
And then she spilled it over the book that was stolen.
The powder glowed red both times which means, they had the same kind of “Crafter’s Aura” and there was a connection between them!
Suddenly, the old Alchemist (“Waoud’s body”) collapsed and an other dude in the room (“Clone with Waoud’s soul”) tried to run off.
The strong Alchemist budds managed to stop the clone.
So what had actually happened?
Waoud was an Alchemist who had become old. As he wanted to gain eternal life, he manages to transfer his soul to a younger body. Unfortunately, we caught and arrested him.
He should have just become an adventurer, honestly. Adventurers don’t age ever. :D
My Alchemy buddies thanked me for the geat help and I returned to my own Alchemic Studies.
In the end, I became an Alchemist specialist to craft the Dravanian Trees for my Mog House.
Needless to say, it was a bit of a waste as in Patch 3.2 the specialization requirement was lifted from most recipes…
